For the Birds

Eiders, that is... a flock of seven surface searchers sitting on the surface of the bay this evening. I watched them for a while, thinking it odd (or perhaps not) that there would be six males and one female.

    When they all dive together, it's like the new crew roster on submarines...

    Seeing the flower photos makes me realize how much I miss spring in Maine.
