Bee on Weed

This morning I went up to the end of the driveway to photograph some of Jen's flowers, the gladiolas are especially beautiful right now, but I got sidetracked by the weeds on the edge of the field. I was surprised that the bee let me get so close, but here are two shots, one of the weed with a wide depth of field  (f 36) and the other of the bee. I think he (it) was looking right at me!
